Micro Rugby privacy policy

This policy covers the Micro Rugby game, including its iOS, Android and browser versions. Wideball Studios is responsible for the game's data practices. You can contact us at wideballstudios@proton.me.

Game data on your device

You do not need an account. The game stores your settings, saved progress, purchase unlock status and any names or other content you enter on your device. This data is used to run the game and keep your progress. It is not uploaded to a Wideball Studios server. It remains on your device until you remove it by clearing the game's storage or uninstalling the app. In a browser, you can clear the site's data in your browser settings.

If you export career data, the game creates a file on your device. You decide whether to save or share it. A recipient or app you choose to share it with may then process that file under its own privacy terms.

Purchases and platform services

The iOS and Android apps offer an optional full-game purchase. Apple or Google handles payment and purchase records. The game checks whether the unlock is owned and stores that status on your device. Wideball Studios does not receive your payment card details or operate a purchase server. Apple and Google may also process information needed to distribute the app and provide their platform services; their privacy policies explain those activities.

Browser version and hosting

The browser game and this policy are hosted by GitHub Pages. When you request a page, GitHub receives technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the page requested so it can deliver and protect the site. Our reason for making those requests is our legitimate interest in providing the game. GitHub's privacy statement explains its processing and retention. Wideball Studios does not use a separate game server or collect web server logs from players.

Analytics and advertising

The current game does not run analytics or show advertisements. We do not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies' apps or websites. If these practices change, we will update this policy before releasing the change.

Contact and your rights

If you email us, we use your address and message to answer you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries. We keep the correspondence only as long as needed to deal with the request and any related legal obligation. Email providers may process that correspondence in other countries under their own privacy terms.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it. You may contact us to exercise these rights. For game data kept only on your device, you can use the game's controls or your device or browser settings to remove it; we cannot access or recover that local data. If you are in the EU or EEA, you may also complain to your local data protection authority, including the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Children and changes

Micro Rugby does not ask children to create an account or submit personal information to Wideball Studios. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can address it.

We will update this page if the game's data practices change. The effective date above shows when this policy was last revised.
